Your EU and UK Representative
GTK Data will be your EU and UK Representative – your central point for inquiries from all European Data-Protection Authorities and data-subjects regarding your company’s compliance with GDPR.
GTK Data will take over all reporting tasks and communication with EU Data-Protection Authorities including:
- Your legal reporting to EU Data-Protection Authorities
- All communication with the EU Data-Protection Authorities on your behalf.
- Filing your records of processing activities related to European data-subjects.
- Handling of requests from EU-data subjects – no limitation of numbers- (DSARs)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- The GDPR-Representative in the EU has to maintain records of the processing activities of non-EU and non-UK companies collecting data on EU-data subjects.
Your External Data Protection Officer in Germany
For German clients GTK Data can act as your External DPO and will assist and consult independently of internal considerations to the decision makers
As your external DPO in Germany we will
- Monitor compliance with GDPR and other relevant legal regulations.
- Lead towards an effective data protection management.
- Support towards following the accountability principle.
- GTK Data acts as your point of contact for Supervisory Authorities in relation to inquiries from data-subjects.
- Hold quarterly meetings with our clients per request.
